Inscription. In 1876, Wenger Cabinetmakers, like several Winchester furniture makers, also sold coffins and operated a hearse service. This building, constructed by Frederick Wenger, Sr., was used by his sons as a furniture store, undertaking business, plumbing and tin shop, and barbershop.
