Inscription. Nothing is as powerful as persistence, and at the Piquette plant Henry Ford pursued his dream of an affordable and reliable automobile "for the great multitude." Ford designed and produced Models B, C, and F, but dropped them by 1906. He never liked the large and expensive Model K, launched in April 1906. The sales success of the Model N, launched in July 1906, confirmed Ford's dream of affordability ($500.00) and reliability. And, with improvements, it helped Henry Ford think of something bigger - the Model T.

Models R and S were cosmetic updates of the very successful Model N.
