In 1751 en route to the land office in Philadelphia

In 1773 on his return from New York where he had taken his step-son Jack Custis to Kings College, now Columbia University

On July 2, 1791 while president and on a tour of the United States

On September 30, 1794 upon his return from reviewing the troops at Bedford during the Whiskey Insurrection

In March, 1797 following his retirement from the Presidency
