South San Francisco Historic Site
On this site was South San Francisco General Hospital 1908-1918-1984
Dr. Plymire had his office in
his home on this site. It was
later moved across the street.
In 1918 Dr. Dolley built a
hospital on the site. In 1925 it
was bought by Dr. E. Bartlett
and Dr. Lassard. The hospital
handled many emergency
cases of industrial injuries
and highway accidents. After
Dr. Lassard's death, Dr.
Musselman and Dr. Oliva
became partners. They sold
the hospital to Kaiser
Permanente in 1953.
