Inscription.
On this site was South San Francisco General Hospital 1908-1918-1984

Dr. Plymire had his office in his home on this site. It was later moved across the street. In 1918 Dr. Dolley built a hospital on the site. In 1925 it was bought by Dr. E. Bartlett and Dr. Lassard. The hospital handled many emergency cases of industrial injuries and highway accidents. After Dr. Lassard's death, Dr. Musselman and Dr. Oliva became partners. They sold the hospital to Kaiser Permanente in 1953.
