Inscription.  Wm. Henry Harrison's army camped one mile southwest of here at the Old Gopher Hill Cemetery Nov. 3, 1811 and Nov. 11, 1811 in route to and from the Battle of Tippecanoe. Several soldiers injured during the battle were buried there.
