Regarding Northeast Police Station. The Highland Park Police Station closed in 1983 when the Los Angeles Police Department moved its Northeast Division to a new location. This location is now the Los Angeles Police Museum, with displays of photographs, uniforms, squad cars, and bullet-riddled vehicles from the 1997 North Hollywood Bank Shootout. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
