Inscription.

"Quigley's" at Twenty First and G Streets held a special place in university life. For a generation, the courtly presence, friendliness and human sympathy of its founder made his pharmacy an oasis of refreshment, sociability, and goodwill which will remain in the ever green memory and affection of the university community.

The marker is mounted to the west side of the building that was previously Quiqley's Pharmacy. The current occupant is a restaurant and its outside seating area blocks a direct view of the marker. The door seen here right of center would open almost directly onto a view of the marker.
