Inscription.
Genevieve was the daughter of John Whaley and Katie Hunt. Shortly after her birth she was placed in the New York Foundling Hospital. Peter and Elizabeth (Windholz) Dreiling in Victoria, Kansas met their new daughter, Genevieve, at the train station on November 22, 1901.

Genevieve found a warm and loving home with the Dreilings. She came home to siblings Amy and Alex and later her sisters Melsina and Clara were born to the happy family. She loved to help on the family farm! Genevieve's teachers while attending Catholic schools in Emmeram, Kansas had been Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia. She felt the call to serve God as a teen and contacted Mother Antoinette, Superior of the Sisters of St. Joseph.

She entered the Congregation on January 8, 1917, taking the name Sister Roberta. She served as a housekeeper at hospitals and convents throughout Kansas. She was a gentle, compassionate person, always concerned for the needs of others. She was a source of encouragement and peace to her Sisters wherever she served.

Erected by The Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia.
