Nash And Chrysler

Charles Nash rose from a dollar-a-day job stuffing seat cushions to the presidency of General Motors. He resigned in 1916 to develop the Nash Motor Company, which later became American Motors.
Walter Chrysler came from the railroad industry to manage Buick. He left in 1920, and then purchased the Maxwell-Chalmers Motor Company in 1923. Chrysler renamed the company after himself.
