1. Route for Horses and Cattle Marker
Inscription. In 1775, Colonel Robert Patterson, William McConnell, David Perry and Stephen Lowry brought the first horses, 9, and cattle, 14, into Northern Kentucky. Animals were brought by boat from Fort Pitt and driven overland from here to the early inland settlements.
 
Erected 1963 by Kentucky Department of Highways. (Marker Number 205.)
