Conveniently located near the Governor's House, Cottage Row served as professional staff quarters from the late 19th Century to early 20th Century. The commissary, the secretary, a fleet of engineers, gardeners, bakers, and farmers lived in their own respective cottages. Each of the five cottages is based on the architectural style of the Second Empires majestic Victorian style.
