1. The L.C. Tucker Building, 101 S. Main Street Marker
Inscription.
Dr. Llewellyn C. Tucker was the original builder and owner of this building and ran a dentist office upstairs. Richard "Dick Watt" Manson operated People's Clothing Company in the lower level from 1905-1942. Before 1927, Blackstone Town Office. The Veteran's Grill opened here in 1942 until sometime in the 1950s. This building was completed in 1903-1904 after a fire destroyed a general store that previously occupied this location. This building was most recently renovated in 2008 by RS Developments, LLC.

This building is listed by the United States Department of the Interior National Park Service as a contributing structure on the National Register of Historic Places.
