1. Camp Peoria Marker
Inscription. This tablet marks the site of Camp Peoria where the following Illinois regiments of volunteer soldiers of the Civil War were encamped from Aug 1862 to Nov 1862. Upon it are inscribed the dates of muster into the United States service and the names of the colonels of the regiments.
