1. Hare House Site Marker
Inscription. About this house swirled the tide of battle on June 18, 1864, and during “Lee’s Last Grand Offensive,” March 25, 1865.

Location. Marker has been permanently removed. It was located near 37° 13.961′ N, 77° 22.223′ W. Marker was in Petersburg, Virginia. It could be reached from Siege Road 1.6 miles East Washington Street (Virginia Route 36). This marker is in Petersburg National Battlefield Park near the Eastern Front Driving Tour Stop #5 - Fort Stedman. It is located on the Colquitt's Salient Trail. Touch for map.
