1. Historic Highway Marker
Inscription. Iona established 11 Feb. 1898, Ray Gooder, Postmaster. Here E. L. Senn, newspaper crusader fought the cattle rustlers and lost his newspaper by fire in early days.
 
Erected 1956 by Iona Township and Highway Commission. (Marker Number 152.)
