Documentary sources indicate that during the 19th century this deposit was built with the purpose of expanding the water supply to the inhabitants of the district where it is located. The name by which it is known, received it taking as reference a traditional grocery store located in the vicinity.
The central element of this space is the font structured with keystone rim with octagonal plant that presents a pronounced relief of circular stroke in the outer face. The union between the ashlar is reinforced with metal staples that are visible in the upper bed of these pieces. On the axis of the rim is located a water dispenser, defined with an octagonal section pedestal that ends with a sculpture of a metal cockerel, which replaces the original stone sculpture.
