Tuvo su origen en Valladolid hoy Morelia. Primer poeta michoacano que canto a los héroes de la independencia. Su obra sigue en gran part los rumbos de sus inquietudes políticas y literarias.

Dentro de su amplia composición poética se encuentra a Humboldt; A la Gloria Inmortal de los Valientes Españoles; En la Coronacion de Fernando VII; Sobre lo que Exige de Nosotros la Religion; Los Recuerdos Tristes; Al Primer Jefe del Ejercito Trigarante.

Manuel Sánchez de Tagle
1782-1847
He had his origin in Valladolid, today’s Morelia. He was the first Michoacan poet who sang to the heroes of Independence. His work largely follows the directions of his political and literary interests.

Within his extensive poetic composition is Humboldt; To the Immortal Glory of the Brave Spaniards; At the Coronation of Ferdinand VII; On what Religion Demands of Us; The Sad Memories; To the First Chief of the Trigarante Army.
