Gasconade River Bridge

A mixed-truss bridge built about 1924 near Hazelgreen, when the road was State Highway 14. It carried traffic until 2014.

Harris Café Conway

Built in 1931 by the Harris family in Conway. Famous for their "little round pies." Moved to the new four-lane in the 1950s, closed in 1965.

Caffeyville

Early complex of roadside services built by Floyd Caffey in the 1920s when Route 66 appeared. Located between Lebanon and Phillipsburg, removed for construction of the four-lane highway in the mid-1950s.

Vesta Court

Opened in 1937 east of Lebanon, located between Skyline Motel and 4 Acre Court. Offered a café, service station, and frame cabins.

4 Acre Court

Opened in 1939 about 4 miles east of Lebanon. Classic example of a stone-cottage court.

Shorty Jones Shell Station

Early service station with rental cabins, just east of Lebanon. Demolished for construction of the new four-lane highway.

Twin Oaks Camp

Built by the McMenus family in the 1920s west of Phillipsburg. Land across highway later donated for a rest area, became a popular park-like gathering place for both travelers

Underpass Café & Station

Café built by Carter and Lawson in 1950 near Phillipsburg. Named after the railroad crossing located just to the east on Route 66.
