Organized in 1900, the Wayne County Bank existed here until 1925, when it became the Wayne County State Bank, The building also housed other businesses such as the office of attorney V.V. Ing and Jones Drug Store. Members of the Masonic Lodge met upstairs. Look closely at the sidewalk to see where the entrance to the Masonic Lodge was. (Marker Number C.)
