1. Fussell Recreational Skating Area Marker
Inscription. Dedicated in memory of Charles Lewis Fussell, 1840-1909, American artist. Fussell, a beloved resident of Media for 38 years, loved nature and his paintings glorified the beauty he found along Ridley Creek. He was also an accomplished ice skater and frequently skated near here with his friend and teacher Thomas Eakins, the famous Philadelpia artist.
 
Erected 1980 by Media Borough Council.
