Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Salud
Catedral que Don Vasco de Quiroga fundó en 1540 sobre una pirámide purépecha; su plan original estaba basado en la catedral de Granada. Funcionó como sede catedralicia hasta 1570, cuando se decidió que Valladolid (Morelia) cumpliera con esta labor. En su mausoleo yacen los restos de Don Vasco de Quiroga y su altar mayor alberga la figura de Nuestra Señora de la Salud.

Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Salud
Cathedral founded by Don Vasco de Quiroga in 1540 on a purépecha pyramid, its original plan was based on the Cathedral of Granada. It functioned as see Cathedral until 1570, when was it decided that Morelia Valladolid was going to comply with this task. In its mausoleum housing the remains of Don Vasco de Quiroga and in its altar also houses the figure of Nuestra Señora de la Salud.
