1. John J. Tyler Arboretum Marker
Inscription. This land grant, by William Penn to Thomas Minshall in 1681, was continuously held by the same family until left by Laura Tyler, as a memorial to her husband, John J. Tyler.
Famous for its unusual trees, planted 1840 to 1860 by Minshall and Jacob Painter.
