1. Chicken Coop Marker
Inscription.  Reconstruction of original chicken coop. Poultry houses always faced south to take full advantage of winter sun. Eggs were both consumed on the farm and bartered for merchandise at local stores. The photo shows David Halsey Hallock feeding his chickens around 1925 when he was close to 90 years old.
