El sabio Donaciano Morales nació en Ixtlahuaca el 24 de mayo de 1850 y murió en México el 1º de abril de 1929. Fue maestro de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Nacional. Sus investigaciones farmacológicas y de química médica le dieron renombre internacional.

English translation:
The learned Donaciano Morales was born in Ixtlahuaca on May 24, 1850 and died in Mexico City on April 1, 1929. He was a teacher at the Faculty of Medicine of the National University. His pharmacological and medical chemistry research gave him international renown.
