1. General Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson Marker
Inscription. Julia Neale Jackson, visiting her father's home on this site Jan. 21, 1824, bore a son who became the Confederate hero "Stonewall" Jackson. At the first Battle of Bull Run, Gen. Bee cried, "there stands Jackson like a stone wall". The rally behind him brought a Confederate victory and immortalized his name.
