Lomeli Adobe

Leo Lomeli, the local Santa Fe railway station agent 1942-1960, began building this home in 1951 for his wife, Esperanza, and three sons. It was a labor of love, completed in 1957 with help from friends and family. Lomeli was the first city council member of Mexican descent, serving 1950 to 1962.
