Henry Penn Burke
and in affectionate appreciation of his leadership, energy and self-sacrifice which have placed the sport of rowing on the high plane it now enjoys. Nowhere in the history of rowing do we find another man whose devotion to the sport so completely dominated his life, and we gratefully acknowledge our indebtedness to him.
