1. Luxembourg Marker
Inscription. Although having a very small military, Luxembourg sent a 44-man volunteer infantry platoon to Korea in November 1950. This unit served as part of the Belgium Battalions who were assigned to the U.S. 3rd Infantry Division throughout the war. The platoon 7 men lost their lives and 21 were wounded in action. The platoon returned home in late 1953.
