1. Our Rescued Eagles Marker
Inscription. Our eagles were rescued and rehabilitated after unfortunate encounters with humans. Our female eagle, Claire, was hit by an airplane, while our male, Mel, was shot by a hunter. They remain unable to fly and cannot be released to the wild, so we are happy to care for them here at the Queens Zoo.
