1. Anchor Marker
Inscription. This anchor is from a steamboat from the early 1900's. It was found on the north side of Rock Island in about 20 feet of water. The two-ton anchor was raised in 1979 by members of the Lake County Divers Club and divers from On the Rocks.

Marker can be reached from West Wisconsin Bay Road north of Highway 42T, on the right when traveling north. The marker is on the grounds of Death's Door Maritime Museum. Touch for map.
