1. John Deere Marker
Inscription. In 1907 the John Deere plow company built this distributbion headquarters for the upper midwest. This building was designed to service the John Deere dealers throughout the Dakotas. At that time John Deere sold a variety of agricultural products including wagons and plows. In the early 1970's Gourley Distributing purchased the building and it became their headquarters for the next 40 years. Today it is an example of historically repurposing ecompassing residential, office, commercial, and entertainmet.
