Location. 40° 40.05′ N, 84° 9.29′ W. Marker is near Fort Shawnee, Ohio, in Allen County. Marker is on West Hume Road, half a mile west of Shawnee Road. Located in the old section of the St. Mathews cemetery, on the east side near the woods/ravine. The church is back a long drive from Hume Road (between Shawnee Road and Beeler Road) and the old section is on your right as you enter. (This was also part of the route of the old Quilna Trail blazed for the settlers by Quilna, the Shawnee Indian.). Touch for map.
