1. Charles T. O'Ferrall Marker
Inscription. Born in 1840 in Frederick County, Virginia. O'Ferrall was appointed Morgan County clerk of the court at age 15 after the clerk, his father, died. In 1861, he enlisted in the Confederate cavalry as a private, rising to rank of colonel. Later, he served in the Virginia General Assembly, the US Congress, and was governor of Virginia. O'Ferrall died on September 22, 1905.
