1. 8th Medical Battalion Avenue Marker

Inscription. Soldiers of the 85th Med Bn are recognized for their dedication and service while at Fort Meade. The Battalion's campaigns include Rhineland and Central Europe during WWII and Southwest Asia in 1991. In September 1992, the Battalion was transferred to Ft Lewis, Washington.
