Inscription. This Anchor was taken from the wreck of the schooner "Chicago Board of Tr de," built tn 1863, sunk in 1900 at Niagara Reef.

The two cleats were taken from the old convict ship, "Success," built in 1790 and burned near here in 1946.

Special thanks to Ernie and Ann Washington of Catawba Island, for salvaging these relics.
