Inscription.  Jim started and led the recreation programs in Sylvania for the Sylvania Area Recreation Coalition. Athletic leagues and facilities under Jim's direction laid the groundwork for the formation of the Sylvania Area Joint Recreation District. Thousands of Sylvania residents benefited from Jim's roles in the recreation community.
