New equipment for farms will not again be plentiful until the material needs of our armed forces are fully met. It is now your patriotic responsibility to secure maximum production with whatever equipment may be available. The accomplishment will require hard work and careful planning from every farmer … together with hearty cooperation by your equipment manufacturer. New Idea is using every resource to deliver all the new equipment possible under present allotments. New Idea dealers are aiding by the maintenance of prompt and adequate repair service. And to promote longer life of existing equipment, we offer to users a specially prepared manual on "The Care and Operation of New Idea Farm Machines."

1. About the Marker
This sign was historically an ad. However, it also easily works as a historical marker and time capsule. It demonstrates the use of industry's appeal to consumers' sense of patriotism during World War II. The United States embraced the concept of Total War at this time.
