Inscription.

During the 1850s Moses Stinnett and his wife Patsy operated a Stage Coach Station beside the Little Rock Fort Smith Military Road which was located 300 feet East of this spot. They catered to travelers and in 1858 contracted with Butterfield Overland Stage Company to provide a relay station that serviced stage coaches and teams.
 
Erected 2003 by Dardanelle Rock Chapter NSDAR and Yell County Historical Association.
