In this house lived the distinguished scientist Antonio Martí y Franqués (1750-1832). The Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona in celebration of the second centenary of its foundation dedicates this plaque to its illustrious member.

Erected 1964 by Real Academia de Ciencias y Artes de Barcelona.
