Presidencia Municipal / Palacio Municipal

that indicate that the building it already existed in the years 1852 and 1853.

A considerable number of houses near the temple and convent of San Pablo, belonged to important or wealthy families of Yuriria and Guanajuato, for which they had large and well-organized spaces. Such is the case of the house that today occupies the Municipal Presidency; that also stands out for having an attractive architectural design.

Adjacent to the Municipal Presidency are other portals, also considered emblematic sites and of social and cultural reference for the inhabitants.

The two remaining portals are: the Portal Morelos and the Iturbide. The first is part of a beautiful colonial house that, with the passage of time, was adapted as a bank branch for more than 30 years. It is located in front of the tourist area, next to the municipal presidency and the main garden, in the heart of this beautiful magical town. At present it has 5 spaces that house offices of the municipal presidency, it has a central patio and the lobby.

The Iturbide portal, formerly the portal of the Holy Trinity, has semicircular arches with quarry moldings, as well as the cornice and the pillars that support the entablature. In its origins, the main building was the home of the independentista Joaquín López Arias, then it passed into the hands of Miguel Ramírez Tinoco, who
