A panorama of the original Maryland-West Virginia river bridge. Foreground on right the Western Maryland Railroad station. Mid photo - the toll house for the bridge and the toll keeper's house with the C&O Canal and tow path to the right.

"The Light House" well known during the canal era - later torn down when the Western Railroad station was built circa 1905.
