The Selden House
During the Federal occupation of Norfolk (1862-1865) it was seized and occupied as the headquarters of the Federal commanders.
On his last visit to Norfolk, April 1870, General Robert E. Lee was the guest here of his friend, Dr. William Selden, Surgeon, C.S.A.
