Reconocemos el valor y la trascendencia de las mujeres y hombres de Guanajuato en el proceso independentista que inició el 16 septiembre de 1810 y que concluyó con la entrada triunfal del Ejército Trigarante a la ciudad de México el 27 de septiembre y el 28 de septiembre de 1821 con la firma del acta de la Independencia Nacional.
