1. Eleanor Dell Clark Ullum Marker
Inscription. In tribute to Eleanor Dell Clark Ullum (1917-2002) for her dedication and inspiration to our community throughout her political and personal endeavors. A graduate of Lebanon High School Class of 1935, she was married to Ed Ullum for 57 years raising four boys. Eleanor offered service at the Dayton VA Medical Center, was a dedicated member of the Ohio American Legion Auxiliary, and worked as a legal secretary. She was elected in 1973 to the Lebanon City Council and in 1977 was unanimously elected mayor becoming the first female mayor in Lebanon's history. She retired in 1993 after spending 20 years on City Council. While on council, she told council members "Only through teamwork can we achieve our goals."
