This Alfred Tibor sculpture was cast from the original donated to the Agudas Achim Synagogue by:
Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Schottenstein • Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Schottenstein • Mr. and Mrs. Saul Schottenstein • Mr. and Mrs. Leon Schottenstein

The dedication plaque on the original sculpture read:

"Dedicated in memory of six million Jewish martyrs of The Holocaust and members of the E.L. Schottenstein family who have gone to their eternal rest.

And in appreciation of Alfred Tibor, the artist, who created this memorial in memory of his parents and brother."

I dedicate the memorial to my beloved parents, brother and eighty-two other members of my family, whose lives were taken by the Nazis along with the six million Jews and countless others during the Holocaust and whose memories endure through my work.
