La Gran Eixida Filològica (1921-2021)

L'any 1921 partia des d'aquest Port Vell de Barcelona i provinent de Mallorca una expedició lingüística que recorreria durant sis mesos Catalunya i les terres valencianes amb la voluntat de culminar els treballs preparatoris del Diccionari català-valencià-balear, d'Antoni M. Alcover i Francesc de B. Moll, una obra fonamental de retrobament entre pobles units per la llengua que els agermana, que els arrela en la història i els projecta al futur.

En 1921 partía desde este Port Vell de Barcelona y procedente de Mallorca una expedición lingüística que recorrería durante seis meses Cataluña y las tierras valencianas con la voluntad de culminar los trabajos preparatorios del Diccionari català-valencià-balear, de Antoni M. Alcover y Francesc de B. Moll, una obra fundamental de reencuentro entre pueblos unidos por la lengua que los hermana, que los arraiga en la historia y que los proyecta al futuro.

Expedition (1921-2021)

In 1921, a linguistic expedition from Mallorca departed from Barcelona's Port Vell to travel around Catalonia and Valencia for six months with the goal of completing the preparatory work for the Diccionari Català-Valencià-Balear by Antoni M. Alcover and Francesc de B. Moll, a seminal work of reencounter between peoples joined by the language that unites them, which roots them in history and projects them into the future.
