William Schultz House
William Schultz House
1908
William Schultz built this period frame farmhouse as the center of his 62 acre truck farm which was known for its delicious strawberries. It also provided milk and eggs to nearby cottage owners. The property included a 10-foot-wide easement, grandly known as the Central Promenade, that once extended north to Lake Monona. Schultz Place is named in tribute to this early area settler.
