1. Leo the Lion Marker
Inscription. Generations of kids have enjoyed feeding Leo their litter. He worked here from 1965-2001 before retiring. Leo was fully restored by Boardwalk Maintenance and returned in 2019. The paper-eating lion was designed by Harry J. Batt Associates, operator of Ponchartrain Beach in New Orleans.
