1. Walk of Fame Marker
Inscription. Founded in 2017, the Northern Appalachian Folk Festival Inc.’s "Walk of Fame” recognizes significant accomplishments made by residents from the northern Appalachian region in the fields of human rights, education, the environment, the arts, and sports. An induction ceremony is held annually at each folk festival to celebrate the event. Names of the "walk of Fame” inductees are inscribed on the bricks in the sidewalk below.
