Nashville's iconic Dragon sculpture and play structure (formal name: Sea Serpent) was a community art project completed in 1981 by renowned artist Pedro Silva, with volunteers of all ages. Hundreds of hands created the original mosaic designs, which have now been restored thanks to support from our community. This plaque celebrates the Dragon's restoration and recognizes with deep appreciation the leaders whose gifts made it possible.
